Choose voucher code or username and password

Make the login method clear before generation and print the credentials customers actually need.

Before you start

  • Confirm whether the login page asks for one code or two credential fields.
  • Check vendor restrictions before choosing length and character type.

Procedure

Follow these steps in order

1

Choose Code only

Customers enter one voucher code. Select numeric, alphabetic, or mixed characters and the supported length.

2

Choose Username and password

K7abeer generates and prints two separate values. Credential length can start at four characters where the target device permits it.

3

Respect vendor defaults

Grandstream controller vouchers default to 10 numeric digits. Other controllers may impose their own format or generate credentials themselves.

4

Preview before generating

The package summary and voucher design must show the selected mode. For username/password mode, both fields must appear in the preview.

5

Run a small login test

Generate and install one credential, then use the exact printed fields on the captive portal before generating a production batch.

Verify success

  • The generated records match the selected credential mode.
  • The PDF or print design shows package and network name plus every required credential.
  • The portal accepts the printed values.

Troubleshooting

Username/password mode still prints one code

Confirm the package credential mode, choose a compatible print design, regenerate a test batch, and verify the target MikroTik profile or controller mapping.

Controller rejects the selected length

Use the vendor-required format. Grandstream vouchers should remain at the 10-digit numeric default unless the controller explicitly supports another format.
