Before you start
- Prepare an optimized logo and background image that you have permission to use.
- Confirm the portal credential mode and customer support contact.
- For vendor-managed portals, edit the page in the vendor controller when K7abeer cannot safely deploy it.
Procedure
Follow these steps in order
Create a new login-page design
Open WiFi Login Pages, select a layout family, and give the design a name that identifies the customer or branch.
Set brand content
Upload the logo and background, enter the business name, welcome text, terms, support phone or WhatsApp, and privacy/terms links.
Match the credential fields
Use a single code field for code vouchers or separate username and password fields for two-part credentials.
Review every portal state
Preview login, status, logout, and error screens on mobile and desktop sizes. Confirm text contrast and that long business names do not overlap controls.
Save, select target, and deploy
Choose the exact branch and device. K7abeer verifies ownership and durable device identity before deploying to MikroTik.
Test as a new customer
Forget the WiFi network or use a new device, reconnect, open the portal, authenticate, view status, and log out.
Verify success
- The design looks distinct from other saved templates.
- Logo and background load on the customer network.
- Credential fields match the generated vouchers.
- The deployed portal survives a router reboot.
Troubleshooting
Deployment says durable identity is required
Refresh device discovery and confirm the selected page, branch, and router belong to the same customer. Do not bypass identity verification.
Images do not appear on the captive portal
Use supported optimized assets, redeploy while the router is reachable, and confirm the files were installed. External image URLs may be blocked before login.
